Box Office Policies

Seats can only be held until the start time of the performance. Once the performance begins, seats are no longer guaranteed in the same location.

Passholders: If you are a season pass holder, national council member, or member of our board, you must reserve your dates and seats in advance. Please email boxoffice@theatreaspen.org or call the Box Office at 970.300.4474. Please let us know your seating preferences.

Refunds: Tickets and passes are non-refundable.

Exchanges: Single Tickets may be exchanged up to 48 hours prior to the originally-purchased performance pending availability. An exchange fee of $8.00 per ticket will be applied on all Single Ticket exchanges.

Theatre Aspen Board Members, National Council Members, Major Donors, and Passholders enjoy unlimited, complimentary exchanges (pending availability). To exchange your tickets, please email boxoffice@theatreaspen.org or call the Box Office at 970.300.4474 within 48 hours of the originally-purchased performance.

Ticketing Fees: A processing fee of $9.00 per order applies to all online and phone ticketing purchases. To avoid this fee, tickets may be purchased in person at the box office.

Late Seating: For the safety of all, Theatre Aspen staff will do their best to seat you in any available seat within 5 minutes of the show beginning. We cannot guarantee that we will seat you in your originally purchased seats, nor can we guarantee that your group will be seated together. With our additional safety precautions in place this year we advise all patrons to be at the theatre 30-45 minutes before the shows begin.

Minimum Age: Generally, children age 4 and up are welcome to attend: please see show descriptions for show-specific age recommendations. All audience members, regardless of age, must have a ticket to enter the theatre.

Any strollers, prams, car seats, etc. will be parked in the Lobby during performances. For the enjoyment of all audience members, Theatre Aspen staff reserves the right to ask parents of fussy children to step into the Lobby during a performance.

Service Animals: Service animals are welcome in the Hurst Theatre as long as the animal is under the handler’s control and is housebroken. Space in the Theatre is intimate: large service animals may require a seat be removed from the house at no charge to the owner. Please contact the Box Office at 970.300.4474 to discuss accommodations for large service animals and arrive 30 minutes ahead of curtain time.

ADA Accessibility at the Hurst Theatre: Theatre Aspen’s Hurst Theatre is ADA accessible. The Theatre requests that patrons in wheelchairs arrive 30 minutes early to be seated comfortably prior to the show. For the safety of all, patrons arriving late are not guaranteed admittance upon arrival and may be seated as late as intermission. The Theatre Aspen Show Shuttle will meet patrons near the skate park across from the parking garage. Please email boxoffice@theatreaspen.org or call the Box Office at 970.300.4474 to arrange a pick up.
