MASTER CLASS

Theatre Aspen and the Aspen Music Festival and School once again collaborate to co-present Terrence McNally’s Master Class. This 1995 Broadway play is about a master class led by opera singer Maria Callas. In this production, a theater star (to be announced) will anchor a production featuring the AMFS’s rising-star opera fellows in the dramatic and musical roles of the students. Regarded as “rich, vivid,” and “satisfying” by The New York Times, and a “total triumph” by the Star-Ledger, this classic production comes to life in Aspen’s historic Wheeler Opera House.

Solo Flights Festival takes off for a fourth season of single-person productions September 7 – 14th!
Join theatre lovers for a week-long developmental festival of one-person shows presented in the beginning stages of their making.
In addition to the performances, Solo Flights features signature events including talkbacks, creative discussions & panels, and special receptions.
Special performance of THE GUYS on 9/10 and 11 in conjunction with Aspen Fire’s annual Day of Remembrance on 9/11 – a portion of the proceeds for tickets sales will support Theatre Aspen Education Programming and Aspen Fire Department’s Charity of Choice.
