2021 Season

Please know that Theatre Aspen is committed to the safety and health of both audiences and performers as we adhere to all government guidelines and policies. Theatre Aspen Leadership is working with officials at all levels across the city, county, state and unions, to be at the forefront of developing best practices and protocols for performances.

This Spring at Harris Hall, you can expect a similar experience to our 2020 Summer Protocols with temperature checks at the doors, social distancing in effect, and mask wearing at all times no matter an individuals vaccination status.

Like last summer, in 2021 the Hurst Theatre will be converted into a cabaret-style space, providing maximum flexibility and as much social distancing as possible as well as lifting the sides of the tent to allow for fresh open-air flow.

For any questions please email or call 970.925.9313. Full Season dates and details will be announced in Early July.

We ask that patrons who attend Theatre Aspen productions, adhere to the following health and safety protocols:

  • Considering distancing guidelines and keeping groups together, our Box Office will be assigning seats nightly based on Premium or Standard tickets purchased.

  • Please arrive at the Theatre 30-45 minutes in advance of curtain time to allow for individual seating. Groups will be taken into the Theatre one by one to help maintain social distancing.

  • Masks will be required at all times when indoors.

  • Multiple Entrances and Exits will be available.

  • Please maintain social distancing – you may refer to the markers on the ground in the lobby area to keep a 6’ distance between yourself and patrons outside your party.

  • Hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes available.

  • Performances will not have any intermissions to minimize bathroom lines.

  • After the performance, groups must wait to be dismissed by House Management to help egress flow.

  • We ask that anyone experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 not attend a Theatre Aspen event.

Please remember to adhere to the Pitkin County 5 Commitments of Containment, and for those traveling to Aspen to utilize the Traveler Responsibility Code.
