As of November 19th, 2026

Theatre Aspen Education is committed to the health and safety of our students and staff first and foremost. The most current version of the policy will always be available on the Theatre Aspen website.

Theatre Aspen Summer 2026 Protocols & Procedures

At Theatre Aspen your camper’s safety is our #1 priority. Our staff is First Aid certified and trained in restorative conflict management, emotional regulation practices, and de-escalation procedures.

Should your camper receive a physical injury at camp, we will let you know. Extremely minor injuries (like a paper cut) won’t warrant a reach out, but minor injuries like a big knee scrape will prompt a text to parents, and any major injuries like a sprained ankle, large fall, head or eye injury, or potential broken bone will get an immediate phone call. Extreme injuries or any situation where camp staff deems it necessary to ensure the safety of your child will warrant a 911 call. Parents will be called simultaneously to emergency response services by another camp staff member.

All staff and campers are asked to remain home if experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or any other potentially contagious viral or bacterial illness. Anyone who tests positive for COVID-19 (or another viral contagion like strep throat) will not be allowed back at camp until they have passed their quarantine period as dictated by the CDC or their primary care provider.

Theatre Aspen reserves the right to ask for campers to put on a mask and/or be picked up if they are exhibiting symptoms of a potentially contagious illness.

In each classroom and rehearsal space staff and students will practice healthy hygiene (hand washing, hand sanitizer, vampire coughs, etc)

Each rehearsal space and classroom space will be equipped with hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, disposable gloves, masks, and facial tissues, as well as traditional first aid materials.
