NEW SPOTS ADDED IN DECEMBER’S WORKSHOP! GRAB THEM WHILE YOU CAN!

DESIGN, STORYTELLING, DRAMA

Broadway is calling your students in Theatre Aspen’s Early Release Broadway Adventure! On each early release day we will explore a different hit show through design, drama games, song, and dance. First we will dive into the fantastical world of Dr. Seuss with Seussical. Then to jump into Winter, we will travel to Arendelle from Frozen and spend time with everyone’s favorite snowman: Olaf! Join us for these three thrilling sessions to add a musical twist to your early release days!

AES Students can take Bus F (Fox) directly to the Red Brick Center on early release days for this program, and be picked up from the bus by our instructor. Students also enrolled in our Wednesday Story Adventures program will roll directly into that class following the end of the Early Release Broadway Adventure.

Register for single workshops, or for the package of two for a discount!

Weekly Themes:

Seussical:

Anything’s possible when it comes to the world of Seuss! In our Seussical Early Release Broadway Adventure, students will stretch their imaginations as they create puppets of the beloved Cat in the Hat, as well as learning a song and dance from Seussical. We’ll explore characters from the Jungle of Nool to the Land of Who, and everywhere in between.

Frozen

It’s time to answer the age old question…do you wanna build a snowman? In Theatre Aspen’s Frozen Early Release Broadway Adventure, students will travel to Arendelle and get a chance to build their own snowman. Through character creation and some crafty skills, each student will have the chance to build their own version of Olaf, as well as learn a song and dance from the Broadway version of Disney’s Frozen.

When: Wednesday, November 8 and December 13 1:30 pm – 3:15pm
