Inspired by a true story, this Tony-nominated musical by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell is mainly set in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Bright Star follows two different timelines— one taking place the 1920s, and the other in the 1940s. A soldier just returning from World War II meets Alice Murphy, a successful literary editor. While working to confront Alice’s past, they discover a life-changing secret.
Friendly, fun, and heartfelt for the whole family.
