Whether your child is new to performing or adores the spotlight, Theatre Aspen’s after-school programs are designed to bring out the best in our youngest performers. Our year-round elementary classes use children’s literature and fine arts to teach performance foundations. Students will let their creativity shine through theatre games, song and dance, and art activities. Each K-4 session ends with a showcase for friends and family!

Story Adventures: Sessions III, IV, and V (Grades K-2)

Make the leap from page to stage! In our Elementary Story Adventures classes, students will deepen their appreciation for the arts through the exploration of new and classic children’s literature. Play Lab: Murder Mystery

There’s been a murder and we have no clue whodunnit! Dive into the realm of collaborative storytelling, thinking up an entirely original show from scratch, create and solve clues, and uncover the solution to a murder mystery. Together, we’ll use improv to generate ideas and discover one-of-a-kind characters, weaving the best of what we’ve made into our brand-new play.

Dive into the realm of collaborative storytelling, thinking up an entirely original show from scratch, inventing gadgets and evading capture to thwart the agents of chaos who want to destroy the world. Together, we’ll use improv to generate ideas and discover one-of-a-kind characters, weaving the best of what we’ve made into our brand-new play.
