On March 15th, 2008 Theatre Aspen launched its 25th Anniversary Season with a star-studded gala at the Jerome Hotel. Thanks to all of our supporters, sponsors and donors, including American National Bank, AspenSojourner, Orchid Liqueurs, Grey Goose Vodka!

Broadway and television star Milena Govich performed for a sold-out room of Aspen’s most enthusiastic cultural supporters.

Dinner, dancing and both live and silent auctions were offered as the themed party brought in costumed revelers to enjoy the “Come to the Cabaret” theme.

Theatre Aspen raised the most in its history at the gala – its primary fund-raiser for the season.

New Artistic Director Paige Price brought a sense of excitement to the crowd and shared plans for the season ahead, which will feature both Broadway and local stars and promises to be the most ambitious season yet!

Marisa Post directed a group of Theatre Aspen School’s teens as they performed “Wilkommen” from the musical “Cabaret.”

In recognition of a generous donation by Alex Kaufman, of Aspen, theatre goers will enjoy the season in the newly named “Alex Kaufman Theatre” in 2008.
