2026 SPRING MIDDLE SCHOOL MUSICAL
Cost: $805 (scholarships & payment plans available)
Grade Range: Actors in grades 5-8 are eligible to audition.
In-Person Auditions and Callbacks:
March 9th & 11th (Monday and Wednesday), 4:00-7:30 PM at the Black Box Theater at Aspen High School (235 High School Rd, Aspen, CO 81611)
Rehearsals:
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4:30-7:30 PM
Rehearsal Period: Tuesday, March 17th – Thursday, April 23rd. No rehearsals during ASD Spring Break (March 30 – April 3).
Tech Rehearsals:
Monday, April 27th – Friday, May 1st – 4:30-8:30 PM
Saturday, May 2nd – 11:00 am-6:00 PM
Monday, May 4th – Wednesday, May 6th – 4:30-9:00 PM
Please note that reasonable rehearsal conflicts are acceptable if disclosed in advance. Not every actor will be required for every rehearsal. Rehearsals will be held in the Black Box Theater at Aspen High School and surrounding rehearsal rooms. ALL rehearsals from April 27th onwards are REQUIRED.
Performances:
May 7th, 8th, & 9th @ 7:00 PM, May 10th @ 2:00 PM in the Black Box Theater.
Plunge into this stunning all-singing, all-dancing, dynamic stage show! When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save the fate of their undersea world. With lives hanging in the balance and all hope lost, a most unexpected hero rises up. The power of optimism really can save the world!
