2020: ALL FOR ONE

SAFETY

Please know that Theatre Aspen is committed to the safety and health of both audiences and performers as we adhere to all government guidelines and policies. Theatre Aspen Leadership is working with officials at all levels across the city, county, state and unions, to be at the forefront of developing best practices and protocols for performances.

For this summer, the Hurst Theatre will be converted into a cabaret-style space, providing maximum flexibility and as much social distancing as possible. Additional modifications are being considered, such as lifting the sides of the tent to allow for fresh open-air flow.

For any questions please email info@theatreaspen.org or call 970.925.9313. Full Season dates and details will be announced in Early July.

Cabaret Spacing for Social Distancing:

This summer Theatre Aspen has significantly reduced our capacity and brought in cabaret tables, creating an exclusive new energy in our space. We ask that patrons who attend Theatre Aspen productions this summer, adhere to the following health and safety protocols:

  • Considering distancing guidelines and keeping groups together, our Box Office will be assigning seats nightly based on Premium or Standard tickets purchased.

  • Please let our Box Office Staff know when reserving tickets if you intend to spend you evening with another party who purchased at the same price level. We are allowed to seat up to eight in a group together.

  • Please arrive at the Theatre 30-45 minutes in advance of curtain time to allow for individual seating. Groups will be taken into the Theatre one by one to help maintain social distancing.

  • Masks will be required in the lobby, at concessions and while being guided to your reserved table. Masks may be removed when seated in the Theatre.

  • All purchases at the box office and concessions must be cashless.

  • All food at concessions will be individually wrapped.

  • Multiple Entrances and Exits will be available and Tent Sides will be left open for increased ventilation, when possible.

  • Please maintain social distancing – you may refer to the blue markers on the ground in the lobby area to keep a 6’ distance between yourself and patrons outside your party.

  • Hand sanitizer and wipes available in the lobby.

  • This season performances will not have any intermissions to minimize bathroom lines.

  • After the performance, groups must wait to be dismissed table by table by House Management to help egress flow.

  • We ask that anyone experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 not attend a Theatre Aspen event.
