What is the Curtain Up Program?

The Curtain Up program is an initiative launched in January of 2024 to provide bilingual performance opportunities to 2nd-8th-grade students throughout the Roaring Fork Valley in Colorado. Our mission is to empower students both on and offstage through the performing arts!

Curtain Up is designed to be accessible to all students, regardless of prior experience or financial background. Every Curtain Up production is offered free to students, with a requested $35 supply fee. All students are encouraged to participate, even if they have never performed previously. In this model, students receive small group training scaffolded by grade level and grow and learn from each other while blended in group ensemble numbers.
