Summer Shakespeare: A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Discover for yourself why Shakespeare is the preeminent wordsmith of all time in our most exciting addition to the summer line-up!

 

Get acquainted with the timeless genius of William Shakespeare in the original RomCom – A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Lots of great roles, with fully-produced performances happening in the time-honored tradition of Shakespeare in the Park. Plus, training in acting, Shakespearean language, improv, movement and more!

Peter and the Starcatcher

Tony-winning Peter and the Starcatcher upends J.M. Barrie’s century-old story of how a miserable orphan came to be The Boy Who Would Not Grow Up.

 

This summer, Theatre Aspen is proud to offer a unique, collaborative opportunity for our 7th-12th graders! Students cast in this production will work with peers and local professionals to build an adaptation of this award-winning theatre piece, and will gain skills in devising, directing, choreography, puppetry, and more to create a one-of-a-kind production.

 

Giving actors the opportunity to portray more than 100 unforgettable characters, Peter and the Starcatcher utilizes ingenious stagecraft and the limitless possibilities of imagination to bring this dazzling story to life. Students will also receive specialized training in musical theatre, as well as workshops and masterclasses from industry professionals.
